Decorating!

Kylie helped decorate our little tree that holds all the ornaments that are not blue or silver. We usually have a big tree as well that is all blue and silver. Our dining room is all siver and blue to coordinate. That is something Dan and I started when we first got married and both really liked it so we have always kept that going. We have not bought the big tree yet this year though.
Alyssia had to get in on the action as well. They had fun. I still have boxes everywhere.

One year I didn't decorate at all and loved it. The girls are excited about it this year so that makes it fun to do. Enjoy all your decorating as well.

Funny Things

Yesterday I began decorating for Christmas around our house. I opened one of the tubs and on top were two stockings that belonged to Dan when he was younger. Kylie immediatly grabbed them and said "We have Christmas socks!" and then put them on her feet. It was so funny, but I didn't have the camera around at the time. Sorry.

Also, Kylie learned a joke yesterday. She was watching "Super Why" and they told this joke. I don't think she understands it, but thinks it is funny. She says " Do know what is funny?" I say "What". She says "A Knock, Knock Joke". Then we start it. "Knock, Knock-Who's there?-Ivan-Ivan Who?-Ivan working on the railroad, all the live long days. Then she laughs. It is really cute.

Alyssia is feeling a lot better. Her eyes look much better already as well. So we are happier in our house.

Alyssia is sick...

I took Alyssia to the Doctor this morning to see if she had pink eye and ear infection. Well, She does Not have pink eye but does have an eye infection that I have to put cream on her eyes 4 times a day for a week. She does have an ear infection as well, so she is on Amoxicilin (the pink stuff) for that. We have been lucky. This the first time that we have ever had the pink stuff for our kids ever and first ear infection. Hopefully she will start to feel better soon. The rest of us have cold but are not doing to bad.

Thanksgiving Day

We had lunch at Dan's brothers place. We were kinda spread out to eat. All of the Augenstine immediate family was there and some of Jen's family as well. Good job Jen with the meal, it was great.
This is Dan and his brother. They sat so they could see the football game while they ate.
This is the Tirado family. They prepared a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for us. Rut was Kylie's sitter before we moved to Illinois. They are family to us.
Kylie is sitting with "Papi". Kylie loves him very much. We love them all very much.

We are in Indiana with the Augenstine side of the family. To all at the Haney house we wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and we are thinking of you all. Enjoy the day of Turkey, Family, Friends and Football of course.

Thanksgiving Family Fun...

All of the kids are together. These are the Augenstine grandkids. They are having a great time together. Tomorrrow we will have Thanksgiving at Dan's brother Dustin and his family's house.
Always fun for them to see eachother and play.

Our Campfire

Everyone really enjoyed the campfire that we had. We roasted Hot Dogs for supper and than had S'mores. We live at camp but we rarely do camp things ourselves, so this was fun.
We roasted marshmallows over the fire.
Kylie calls it a "firecamp". She has wanted to go camping for awhile now. This fills that activity for her for awhile anyway.
Alyssia and Emma just ate plain marshmallows.

More Rooms...

This is our Living Room. It is usually filled with toys.

This is our guest room in our house. There is a little more room to the right but there is nothing there but windows at the moment.

Emma got to enjoy the pile of leaves with us today and the playground as well. Today is a beautiful day so the girls just had to get outside and enjoy the weather.

I use to do this too. Alyssia is laying in the sun. Nice and warm.

I was sucking up bugs in the window with my vacuum cleaner and

I thought "I am just like my mom".

Our house guest this week...

Emma is visiting us this week. The girls are excited to see eachother and to play, play, play.

The girls just got home from church today.

They are both in their pretty dresses and ready for a nap.

Rooms in our house

This is our girls room upstairs. It is a large room. They share it. Usually they sleep in the same bed as well. So one bed stays made most of the time. You get the full circle view.

HAPPY 35th DADDY, WE LOVE YOU!

God has blessed me with a wonderful husband. I can not explain how blessed I am. He is a great father and we want to wish him a happy birthday.

Kylie loves Birthdays and was very excited about her Dads Birthday. She had to have the hat, a cake, balloons, you name it. It was just a much about her today as it was for Dan.
Kylie made Dan this for his birthday. She is getting better and better with her writing and this , if you need help, says "I Love You, Kylie".
We had a peanut butter pie with Pink candles. Poor Dan, but that what happens when you have little girls. Lots of Pink.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Alyssia said "book" and then "I want down" (I want up) to Dan. She loves to read.

This is cute. The girls fell asleep together in the office today while I was working. Kylie fell asleep first and then Alyssia laid right next to her and fell asleep as well. This shows how close thay are. They love eachother a lot. CUTE!
