Ring

A friend had a idea for us to post pictures of our wedding rings. This is mine. I really like my ring. The middle is 1/3 carat and the sides have another 1/3 carat on them. I have been pretty good at taking it in for cleanings but have had lots of issues with my ring. I lost one of the side diamonds and had to have it replaced and then one day the middle diamond fell out but I found it. I had the whole center of my ring replaced and my diamond reset. My husband and I were engaged in March of 1999 where I got the middle solitare and then added the wrap part when we got married in 2000.

Cookies

Kylie and I made cookies today. I became our Easter project for the day. I had not planned on anything but she asked to make cookies so we made cross' and hearts. It became a good lesson while we made cookies. She did a really good job.

Fun night

Tonight we had a fun night at church. We had a good time. We played sardines, pictionary, guesstures and had a lot of food. The kids had a great time as well. Kylie really loved Sardines (a form of hide-and-seek). She is getting big enough to be very quiet. Alyssia is not so quiet. She was so funny. We had fun anyway.

Fun in the Mud

Today while I was making supper, Dan took the kids outside. It is so muddy right now. We still have some snow but a lot of mud. Here is Alyssia getting as much mud on her as she can. It was so nice out today they just had to get out there. Today we were about the mid 50's. We are suppose to get a little colder again for a few days but hopefully it will continue to stay nicer out.
Kylie was playing tag with her Dad. Alyssia was playing also but as you can see is running the other way.
So much fun to play in the mud.
If any of you watch Curious George, he has an episode where he makes a fun hat and the man with the yellow hat wears it to make a speech. Kylie really wanted to make her own fun hat. Here is what it looks like. It did have a pocket for snacks and the straw whistles. Not bad for us who are not as good at hat making. She loved it.

Here are our crazy girls.
Kylie is fighting a cold and is constantly wiping her nose. She sounds bad but is handling it very well.
Alyssia is challenging us at bed and nap times. It takes quite awhile to get her down. Dan took the day off today and it is nice to have him helping with her today at nap time.
Alyssia's manners are getting very good though. She uses them very well.
The girls play quite well together now as Alyssia is able to do and understand more. Actually she is getting better at following her sisters directions.

Internet

We now have Internet at our house. I am so excited. I can now check e-mail, bank accounts and blog from home. This is a very good thing for my family. They are use to me staying after I work at the office an hour or maybe even two to do Internet stuff. That means lunch or supper is usually late those days. I can do this at home while the girls nap, after they are in bed or while they play. It will be nice for all of us. It also means my husband can stay home more during fantasy football season. He had to check his score or set up his team each week. This is going to be nice.

The last couple of days have been OK as far as sick goes. I still feel nauseous a lot and tired. Overall not bad. My house has suffered some but today I got a lot accomplished. I am so thankful for a dishwasher. When I was pregnant with Alyssia I didn't have one at this point and my dishes piled up pretty quickly. Thank God for dishwashers.

Doctor Appointment

Well, I had another doctor appointment yesterday. All of my tests from the previous appointment came back fine. We talked about the results from the ultrasound that I had done as well. I have a student doctor and then a official doctor because I go to a teaching clinic. The student doctor that I have is a fourth year student so she does pretty much everything and then the doctor just comes in to say HI and sign off on everything.

I really like the student doctor and the official doctor that I have. They are both Christians. The student goes to church at one of the churches that support the camp. She has done a very good job. Yesterday was really neat because I was there at the end of the day so all three of us sat and talked about personal things and then before I left my Doctor asked if he could pray. So all three of us prayed together about the pregnancy.

That is something you find everyday at your doctor's office. I am blessed to have such great doctors around me and my family. There is another Doctor that may possible be filling in on some of the appointments and he is a Christian as well. All went well yesterday and thank God for that. I now don't go back for a month.

The down side is I started to trow-up on Wednesday. I threw-up a couple of times then but haven't since yet. Hopefully the first trimester will go fast. I really don't like being pregnant in the first trimester because of being so sick but it is all worth it.
I have a due date of October 20th.

It is still early but I have started feeling nauseous. I trew up a few times a day when I was pregnant with the girls. So far no throw-up but not feeling well.

I pulled out my "What to Expect When Your Expecting" book to see the guide of how things should be going. I fit all the criteria that the book says. Our baby is about an inch long and has all of his/her fingers, toes and internal organs all inside that inch, SO AMAZING.

I felt bad for Dan. I went over to camp for church on Sunday since we had a group here and the girls were really pretty good but Alyssia started talking during prayer and I took her out. I don't know but it must have been the pregnancy because I started to cry. I was so emotional. I didn't want anyone to see me like that so I went home and let the girls just play outside. How funny. It has been quite a while since I have had an emotional break down like that so I am blaming the pregnancy.

Our snow is starting to melt so things are really muddy where you can see ground. We still have a lot of snow. The other day on the news, they said we have gotten about 65 inches of snow this winter. We are really ready for spring and summer. My girls love to be outside and it will be nice to be out.
